Peggy'S Boiled Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, beaten well
    1/2 gal. milk
    1 box confectioners sugar, sifted
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch, sifted in sugar
Preparation
    Mix all together with hand mixer.
    Cook over medium heat to low heat very slowly, until coats a metal spoon.
    Do not burn; stir constantly.
    Set off heat and let cool.
    Refrigerate.
    If too thick when serving, add a little milk to thin.
