Baked Custard(Heritage Recipe) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. milk
3 eggs
3/8 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
nutmeg
Preparation

Scald milk in top of double boiler over hot water or on very low heat.
Beat eggs until slightly mixed, add sugar and salt. Stir the milk and vanilla slowly into the egg mixture. Pour custard into cups and sprinkle with nutmeg.
