Cinnamon Pecan Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks softened margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. plain flour
    1 egg, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream together the margarine and sugar.
    Add the flour, egg yolk,
    vanilla
    and
    cinnamon.
    Mix all ingredients well, then press onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Press the pecans into the mixture.
    Beat
    the
    egg white until foamy, then spread on top. Bake at 275\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cut into squares immediately.
