French Fried Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. milk (may need more if too thick)
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    thick sliced bread (raisin or apple is best)
    vegetable oil (enough to fill pan 1/2 inch deep)
Preparation
    Hand-mix first 7 ingredients (all but bread and oil).
    Dip 1/2 slice of bread into batter.
    Drop in hot oil until browned.
    Serve with butter and syrup.
