Funnel Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
2/3 c. milk
4 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. flour
Preparation

Mix ingredients well; pour into a measuring cup with a spout. Heat 1/2 cup vegetable shortening in a 10-inch frypan.
Test by dropping a small amount of batter into oil.
When it rises, oil is ready.
Drizzle batter into pan in a circular, thin stream.
As it turns golden and rises to surface, turn and cook other side.
Drain on towel.
Sprinkle with 10x sugar.
