Chicken A L'Orange - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 8 chicken breasts
salt and pepper
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 c. orange juice
1/2 c. chili sauce
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1/2 to 1 tsp. garlic salt
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. molasses
3 medium oranges, peeled and sliced in half cartwheels
Preparation

Wash and dry chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper. Dredge with flour.
Heat shortening in a skillet.
Add chicken and brown lightly in oil on all sides.
Remove chicken to 3-quart casserole.
Drain fat from pan.
