Cheese Wafers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 c. butter
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg white, slightly beaten
    pecan halves
Preparation
    Mix first five ingredients thoroughly until well blended. Roll out on floured board.
    Cut in 1-inch rounds and place on ungreased pan.
    Brush each round with egg white.
    Place part of nut kernel on each.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
