Lemon Bread - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
1/2 c. butter
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
5 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt and lemon rind.
Cream 1 cup sugar and butter; add eggs one at a time. Add flour mixture alternately with milk.
Stir in 3 of the 5 teaspoons of lemon juice.
Bake about 40 minutes.
After cooled, mix 2 teaspoons lemon juice and 2 tablespoons sugar and brush on loaves.
