Shrimp Tempura - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. dry sherry
1 Tbsp. grated ginger root and/or radish
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. ice water
2 lb. peeled, deveined shrimp (leave tails on shrimp)
oil for deep-frying
Preparation

Make dipping sauce by combining broth, sugar, soy sauce, sherry and ginger and/or radish.
Set aside.
