Dump Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cubes butter or margarine
2 cans apple pie filling
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 box white or yellow cake
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Melt butter in a 10 x 14-inch pan or 2 smaller pans.
Pour excess into a small bowl to be used later.
In medium bowl, mix apple pie filling with crushed pineapple.
Pour and spread out in buttered pans.
Over top sprinkle dry cake mix and nuts.
Pour reserved melted butter over all.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 1 hour or until golden and bubbly.
Serve warm or cool with whipped or ice cream, if desired.
Vary by using different fruits, cake mix or nuts.
