Texas Skillet Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large cans fruit or frozen or fresh fruit
1 stick oleo
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Melt oleo.
Place fruit in oblong pan.
Sweeten, if desired. Mix sugar, flour, baking powder and milk.
Pour melted oleo over fruit.
Pour sugar and flour mixture over fruit.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Leave in oven after heat is turned off to allow topping to get crusty.
