Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts (if desired)
Preparation

Cream butter and shortening together with sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
Sprinkle nuts on top before baking.
Bake in tube pan 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
This keeps well in freezer.
