Honey Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe

2 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1/3 c. honey
1/4 c. Crisco shortening
1 Tbsp. salt
1 3/4 c. warm water
3 c. whole wheat flour
3 to 4 c. all-purpose flour
margarine or butter, softened
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water in a large mixing bowl. Stir in honey, shortening, salt, warm water and whole wheat flour. Mix until smooth.
Add enough all-purpose flour to make dough easy to handle.
