Rhubarb Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    3/4 c. oatmeal
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    4 to 5 c. sliced raw rhubarb
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. cold water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, oatmeal and butter.
    Press 3/4 of mixture into bottom of 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Cover with rhubarb.
    In saucepan, mix all remaining ingredients.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
    Pour over the rhubarb. Sprinkle remaining flour/oatmeal mixture on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes until bubbly and brown.
    Cool.
    Yields 12 servings.
