Brunswick Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 small hen or large fryer, cut into pieces
1 lb. fresh lean pork
1 lb. stew beef
1 can tomatoes
1 can corn, creamed or whole kernel
1 can lima beans or frozen may be used
4 medium potatoes, cut into pieces
1 medium onion, diced
1 bell pepper, diced
1 c. celery, diced
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 lemon, sliced
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Place chicken and meats into pot and cover with water; add salt and pepper.
Cover and cook until very tender.
Remove meat from bones and return to broth.
Add all of the other ingredients and cook slowly
until it is as thick as you like, usually about an hour.
Stir occasionally to keep from sticking.
More seasoning may be added, if desired.
