Turkey Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 lb. fresh ground turkey
    1 can (12 oz.) whole kernel corn
    1 large potato, peeled and diced
    1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. sugar
    3 c. boiling water
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Saute onion in oil
    in
    large kettle until transparent. Push to one side.
    Add ground turkey and cook, stirring, until lightly browned.
    Add
    remaining
    ingredients,
    except
    canned milk.
    Stir well.
    Cover.
    Bring
    just
    to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes
    or until potatoes are tender.
    Just before serving, remove from
    heat
    and
    slowly
    stir in canned milk.
    Makes 6 generous servings.
