Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 (1 oz.) bottles red food coloring
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs, beat well after each addition.
    Sift flour, salt and cocoa 3 times.
    Add alternately to mix with buttermilk.
    Add vanilla and food coloring.
    Fold in soda and vinegar.
    Do not beat.
    Bake in 3 round pans in 250\u00b0 oven, about 30 minutes.
