Frosty Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 pt. vanilla or strawberry ice cream
    1 1/2 c. sliced or halved strawberries or 1 pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 baked 8 or 9-inch pastry shell, cooled
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Gradually add ice cream, stirring until melted.
    Chill until thickened, but not set (15 to 25 minutes).
    Fold in strawberries.
    Pour into pastry shell. Chill until firm (20 to 30 minutes).
    Garnish with whipped cream.
