Lemon Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3 oz. lemon extract
1/2 lb. white raisins
4 c. pecans (not chopped)
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped cherries
1 c. candied pineapple
Preparation

Mix 1 cup of flour in bowl with raisins, dates and nuts.
In another bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Add Karo, lemon and alternate eggs with flour, salt and baking powder.
Beat 5 minutes with electric beater.
Pour mixture over fruit and nuts, then add cherries and pineapple.
