Chocolate Syrup Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 lb. can chocolate syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 eggs
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream butter and Crisco.
    Add chocolate
    syrup and sugar; beat until smooth.
    Add eggs one at a time and continue to beat.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Pour mixture into a greased and floured pan.
    Start in cold oven.
    Do not open door for 1 hour.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0 or until done.
