Cherry Glaze - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sour cherries, drained (sweetened)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    few drops red food coloring (optional)
Preparation
    Blend sugar and cornstarch into drained juice; cook until thick and clear, stirring constantly.
    Add food coloring and cherries; cool and pour on top of dessert.
    Chill to serve.
