4 c. thinly sliced potatoes
1 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 lb. lean ground beef
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. fine cracker crumbs
1/2 c. ketchup or chili sauce
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation

Alternate the potatoes, onion, salt and pepper in a 2-quart casserole.
Mix remaining ingredients; spread mixture evenly over potatoes.
Decorate with ketchup, if desired.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until potatoes are tender.
