Dutch Oven Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sirloin tip
3 green peppers
2 chopped onions
3 crushed garlic cloves
32 oz. black turtle beans, soaked in salted water evening before
16 oz. tomato sauce
4 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. crushed basil
rice
Preparation

Bring beans to a low boil and simmer until meat mixture is ready.
In a heavy skillet, brown meat; add onion, green pepper and garlic.
Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring to prevent sticking.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil and beans. Simmer until tender.
Serve over rice.
Serves 8.
