Wine Herb Halibut Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    4 (1-inch thick) halibut steaks
    1/2 c. Chablis or other dry white wine
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. dried basil
    1/4 tsp. dried oregano
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. paprika
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
    Arrange halibut steaks in a single layer and cook 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
    Add wine and lemon juice; sprinkle basil and remaining ingredients over steaks.
    Cover; reduce heat and simmer 8 to 10 minutes.
    Serve steaks with pan drippings.
    Yield:
    4 servings.
