Cabbage And Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    caraway seed (about 1/2 small box)
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. medium egg noodles
    salt and pepper to taste
    5 large ripe tomatoes
    1/2 c. olive oil
    3 cloves garlic, sliced in 2
    1 c. chopped fresh basil
    1 lb. linguini
    salt and red pepper flakes
Preparation
    Drop tomatoes into boiling water for 1 full minute.
    Peel, seed and chop.
    Put in large bowl with the olive oil, garlic slices, basil leaves, salt to taste and lots of red pepper flakes. Cover with Saran Wrap and let set for a couple of hours, then remove garlic.
    Cook the linguini, drain and toss with cold tomato mixture, some Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
