White Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 c. warm milk or potato water or cream
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. warm shortening (if not using cream)
    5 to 7 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix ingredients in order given, gradually adding flour until dough is not sticky.
    Knead 10 minutes.
    Let dough rest 20 minutes; shape into a ball.
    Let rise 1 hour.
    Shape into rolls or bread loaves.
    Let rise.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
