Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie crust (uncooked)
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 small onions, chopped fine
    1/2 c. shredded cooked ham or bacon
    1 c. (1/4 lb.) grated Swiss cheese
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. cream
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp. white pepper
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter until transparent.
    Place ham on bottom of pie shell.
    Sprinkle cheese and onion on top of ham.
