Sweet And Sour Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 whole boned chicken breasts, cut in strips (about 2 c.)
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks (save syrup)
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/3 c. water
    1 (16 oz.) can chow mein vegetables
Preparation
    Heat oil.
    Stir-fry chicken until white.
    Season with salt. Add pepper and pineapple syrup.
    Boil 3 minutes.
    Mix cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar and water and stir in mixture.
    Cook until thick.
    Stir in pineapple and vegetables and heat.
    Makes 5 (1 cup) servings.
    Serve with rice.
