Tangy Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. chili sauce or catsup
Preparation
    Melt butter in heavy saucepan.
    Add flour and mix well.
    Pour in buttermilk all at once and immediately stir vigorously over moderate heat until thickened.
    Add chili sauce and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
    Serve hot.
    Makes 1 1/2 cups sauce.
