Crock Pot Beef Barley Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1-1/2 lb. Stew Beef
2 Tbsp. Oil
1 c. sliced Carrots
1 c. sliced Celery
1 medium chopped Onion
1/2 c. chopped Green Pepper
4 c. Beef Broth
1 - 16oz. can chopped Tomatoes
1 c. Spaghetti Sauce
2/3 c. Pearl Barley
1-1/2 tsp. dried Basil
1/4 c. fresh Parsley
Salt & Pepper to taste
Preparation

Brown the Stew Beef in hot Oil.
Drain.
In cooker, combine Carrots, Celery, Onion, Green Pepper, and Parsley.
Add Broth, undrained chopped Tomatoes.
Spaghetti Sauce, Barley, Basil, Salt and Pepper.
Stir in browned meat.
Slow cooker on low for 10-12 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
