John'S Salsa - cooking recipe
Ingredients

9 c. tomatoes (fresh or canned, in bite-size pieces)
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
7 medium jalapeno peppers, seeds removed and diced
6 medium cloves garlic, diced
1 c. sweet onion, chopped
10 Tbsp. cornstarch *
2 Tbsp. salt
3 Tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. cumin
Preparation

Mix all ingredients, except cornstarch, in a large pot.
Heat to boiling point.
Remove 1 cup mix and add cornstarch to it. Stir well and return to pot.
Stir and cook only until cornstarch is dissolved.
Take from heat.
Cool.
Store in jars in refrigerator for 10 days to two weeks.
