Toffee Treat Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/3 c. butter
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. milk
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    6 small Heath bars, chopped
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and brown sugar.
    Cut in butter.
    Save 1 cup of this mixture.
    To remaining mixture, add soda, milk, egg and vanilla.
    Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Shave chilled candy bars over top of batter.
    Also add crumbs and sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Serve with whipped cream.
