Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. 15 beans, soaked in water overnight
    1 c. carrots
    1 can (recipe ready) chopped stewed tomatoes
    1 ham shank
    1 c. onion
    1 c. celery
    parsley flakes
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook ham shank 1/2 hour; add rest of ingredients and cook for at least 3 hours on low heat.
    Serve with cornbread.
