Grandmother'S Special Pork Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 center cut pork chops with fat trimmed off
1/2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. lemon pepper spice
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 Tbsp. oil
1/4 c. water
2 large lemons
1 large bell pepper, cut in strips
1 large onion, sliced and separated in rings
1 large can tomato sauce (use 2 cans for more gravy)
dash of salt and pepper
Preparation

Heat oil in skillet.
Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.
Brown on both sides and remove from pan.
Drain grease from skillet, then put chops back in skillet.
Cut lemons in quarters and squeeze juice over chops.
Place lemons on top of chops, along with bell pepper strips and onion rings.
Add water, lemon pepper spice, Worcestershire sauce and tomato sauce to cover all.
Cover and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until chops are tender.
This gravy is excellent on mashed potatoes.
