Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium size green tomatoes
    1 c. corn meal or flour
    2 Tbsp. bacon grease or oil
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cut tomatoes into 1/4-inch slices. Season with salt and pepper. Dredge slices in corn meal or flour to coat both sides. Heat grease in heavy skillet. Add tomatoes; fry slowly until browned, turning once.
