Red Green Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 doz. red and green peppers
    3 c. sugar
    7 medium onions
    2 Tbsp. kosher salt
    3 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Grind peppers and onions.
    Place in colander to drain.
    Make syrup of salt, vinegar, mustard seed and sugar; boil 30 minutes. Add onions and peppers and simmer for 30 minutes or until tender. Ladle into hot pint jars, filling within 1/2 inch of top.
    Process in boiling water bath 5 minutes.
