Cheese Ball - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 tsp. salt
    8 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 c. pecans
    assorted crackers
Preparation
    Soften cream cheese.
    Add salt, pineapple, grated cheese and onion.
    Mix together with mixer.
    Add 1/2 cup of pecans, finely chopped.
    Shape mixture into a ball.
    Cover with remaining whole pecans.
    Serve with assorted crackers.
    Keep refrigerated.
