Country Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground meat
    1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    3 c. cooked rice
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    2 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 c. bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. grated American cheese
Preparation
    Mix meat, bread crumbs, onion, bell pepper, seasoning and 1/2 can tomato sauce.
    Press into a 9 or 10-inch pie pan forming a shell.
    Mix rice, cheese and remaining tomato sauce.
    Pour into meat shell.
    Sprinkle top with a little additional cheese after it has baked a while.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for a total of 35 to 40 minutes until meat is done.
