Light Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2/3 c. sugar
    7 to 8 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
Preparation
    Heat milk, Crisco and sugar until Crisco melts.
    Remove and cool to a lukewarm.
    Add yeast which has been dissolved in approximately 1/4 cup warm water.
