Golden Wassail - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 inch stick cinnamon, broken
    1/2 tsp. whole cardamom, crushed
    2 (12 oz.) cans apricot nectar
    1 (24 oz.) bottle white grape juice
    1/4 tsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    lemon, orange slices and stick cinnamon to float
Preparation
    Place the cinnamon and cardamom in cheesecloth.
    In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients.
    Add the cinnamon and cardamom. Bring to a boil.
    Reduce and simmer 15 minutes.
    Remove spice bag.
    Float slices of fruit and sticks in bowl.
    Makes 18 (4 ounce) servings.
    (Good for people who don't like apple juice.)
