Chess Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    6 whole eggs (one at a time)
    2 c. sifted flour (all-purpose)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco.
    Add eggs, beating slightly after each addition.
    Gradually add sifted flour and vanilla.
    Bake in angel food or tube pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
