Batter Dipped Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. shrimp, uncooked
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 c. milk
    1 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    vegetable oil
Preparation
    Wash, shell and devein shrimp.
    Drain shrimp on paper towel. Blend egg and milk together.
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
    Add egg-milk mixture to dry ingredients and blend until smooth.
    Dip shrimp in batter and fry in just enough heated oil to float shrimp.
    Heat oil to 385\u00b0 before adding shrimp.
    Drain golden brown shrimp on paper towels.
