Ingredients

2 c. cooked, diced beets
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 c. water
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. salt
Preparation

Mix sugar and flour.
Add water and vinegar.
Cook over simmer burner until thick.
Add salt and butter, then diced beets. Reheat.
