Crescent Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. Pillsbury crescent rolls
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 egg, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Pat one can of the rolls into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Beat egg yolk, cheese, 1 cup sugar and vanilla together.
    Spread on top of the rolls.
    Place the other can of rolls on top.
    Beat the egg white until stiff; brush on top of the rolls.
    Mix together the 1/4 cup sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
    Sprinkle on for topping.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
