Nick'S Famous Shrimp Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 sticks lightly salted butter
    6 cloves garlic
    basil and parsley
    1 c. Italian dry white table wine
    14 oz. chicken stock
    1 lb. penne pasta
    1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
    1/2 c. imported extra virgin olive oil
    1 lb. shrimp, cleaned and deveined
    1 lemon
Preparation
    In a 14-inch skillet, combine 1 stick butter, olive oil and 2 cloves chopped garlic.
    Cook until lightly browned.
    Add chicken stock; bring to a boil.
    Add white wine, stirring constantly.
    Add 1/4 cup bread crumbs, mixing well while boiling.
    Add shrimp, balance of garlic, basil and butter; squeeze lemon over pan.
    Cook, covered, for 5 minutes.
    Bring pasta to a boil; drain well. Preheat oven to broil.
    Mix pasta in with shrimp scampi.
    Cook for 3 minutes; sprinkle balance of bread crumbs over top of frypan. Place in oven for 5 to 10 minutes, or until bread crumbs begin to brown.
    Serve with Monticello Pinot Noir.
