Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour.
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
2 beaten egg yolks
2 stiffly beaten egg whites
1/2 c. salad oil or melted shortening
Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients.
Combine milk and egg yolks; stir in dry ingredients.
Add oil or melted shortening and stir. Fold in egg whites, leaving a few little fluffs-- do not over mix. Bake in preheated waffle iron.
Makes 8 waffles.
