Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. cold milk
    4 to 5 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add sugar and mix well.
    Add softened butter and cream together.
    Add beaten eggs slowly.
    Sift flour and salt together and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
    Turn onto a floured board and knead for 1/2 minute. The dough should be soft.
    Make into little balls about 1 1/2-inches in diameter.
    Roll out each ball on floured board with the palm of hand to form strip about 4 1/2 to 5-inches long. Intertwine 2 strips and shape into a circle, tucking end on the bottom.
    Place on a greased cookie sheet; cover and let rise in warm place, free of draft.
    When doubled, bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until tops are slightly golden.
    Yield:
    about 2 dozen rolls.
