Helen Heath'S Sweet Hamburger Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    36 medium green tomatoes
    6 medium onions
    2 sweet green peppers
    2 sweet red peppers
    1 hot pepper
    1 c. water
    6 c. brown sugar
    2 c. cider vinegar
    5 tsp. salt
    5 tsp. curry powder
    5 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Put
    tomatoes,
    peppers and onions through course blade of chopper
    or food processor.
    Put in preserving kettle.
    Add 1 cup of
    water.
    Simmer
    gently for 15 minutes.
    Drain well, pressing out
    all
    liquid.
    Add
    vinegar,
    brown sugar, salt, curry powder and celery seed.
    Bring to a boil. Simmer gently for 5 minutes. Pour into sterile jars.
    Seal.
