Chocolate Refrigerator Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 ladyfingers
    1/2 lb. sweet chocolate
    3 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. whipping cream, divided
Preparation
    Line loaf pan with wax paper.
    Place 8 halves of ladyfingers in bottom of pan.
    Melt chocolate over hot water.
    Remove from heat.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating vigorously after each egg.
    Beat egg whites stiff; fold in and add vanilla.
    Whip half of cream, fold in and spread.
    Spread chocolate on ladyfingers in 4 rows.
    Top with ladyfingers, chill at least 4 hours.
    Frost with whipped cream.
