Doughnut Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together; add egg and beat well. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
    Add dry ingredients to egg mixture alternately with the milk.
    Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Remove from tins at once and roll in melted butter, then in cinnamon sugar mixture.
